The V-cone flow sensor adopts a throttling method similar to the orifice plate principle. A special streamlined cone is suspended on the center line of the pipe to throttle. The positive pressure PH is taken in the high-speed steady flow zone in front of the cone and the positive pressure PH is taken at the tail of the cone. The negative pressure PL is taken in the steady flow zone in the center of the pipeline. Within the range of Reynolds number 8000~5000000, the flow rate is proportional to the square root of the differential pressure.
